Victrex Polymer Solutions, a unit of British-based Victrex that produces high-performance polymers, is set to showcase its ‘Peek’ polymer to address the key interests of the oil and gas, and aircraft and automotive industries in Paris this week.

The JEC Europe Composites will be held from March 11 to 13 at the Paris expo Port de Versailles.

Dr Alan Wood, principal scientist - Applied Technologies at Victrex, will address the myths surrounding thermoplastic-matrix composites, during his presentation “Thermoplastic-Matrix Composites – the Myths, the Barriers to Use and the Solutions” at the Thermoplastics Day of the Innovative Composite Summit that will run concurrently with the show.  

Dr Wood will reveal the potential of thermoplastic-matrix composites and illustrate the potential for hybrid processing technologies.
