Dongfang wins EPC deal for Egypt power plant

CAIRO, January 26, 2016

China-based Dongfang Electric has won an EPC general contracting agreement worth rmb2 billion ($304 million) for an ultra-supercritical coal-fired power station project in Egypt, a report said.

The total installed capacity of the project is 3,960MW, which will be developed in two phases with 3x660MW in each phase, reported 4-Traders.com.
