Phoenix Contact to showcase key products at MEE 2017

DUBAI, January 29, 2017

Phoenix Contact, an electrical engineering company, is set to showcase its new innovative products at the 42nd edition of the Middle East Electricity (MEE 2017) expo which opens in Dubai, UAE, next month.

One of the largest international trade events for the power industry, MEE 2017 will kick off on February 14 and run for the next two days at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

It will cover the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, the renewable and nuclear energy sectors and the lighting industry.
 
At the expo, Phoenix Contact will shed light on surge protection and the latest devices that help protect against transient and high-energy voltage peaks, said a statement from the company.

The key innovative solutions to be put on display include those for power transmission and distribution, renewable energy, push-in technology, relay technology, industrial communication, wireless ttechnology, networking, ethernet switches with IEC 61850, power supplies and system availability, the latest surge protection technology – SEC (safe energy control), HMIs and industrial PCs, tools, signal conditioners, marking and labelling, cyber security and safety relay modules.

Moreover, as the world is tapping into the new era of cyber security, Phoenix Contact will showcase industrial firewalls and solutions for secure remote maintenance and security infrastructure for safeguarding industrial systems against cyber-attacks and viruses, it stated.

"Phoenix Contact will be displaying a wide range of first class products and new innovations in the field of electrical connection technology, electronic interface, automation systems as well as solutions for the energy, infrastructure, and process industries," remarked Dania Liswi, MarCom manager, Phoenix Contact Middle East.
