Apex to set up its state-of-the-art $24.5m plant in Kezad
ABU DHABI, August 28, 2024
UAE-based Apex Engineering Industries will set up a AED90 million ($24.5 million) facility in Kezad Abu Dhabi to produce industrial parts, machinery and equipment for the oil and gas, locomotive and defence industries.
For this, Apex has signed a 50-year land lease agreement with Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi – Kezad Group, the largest operator of integrated and purpose-built economic zones, for the 40,000 sq m state-of-the-art plant at Kezad Area A – Al Ma'mourah.
The facility will use advanced engineering for the design and development of innovative systems to serve the above sectors. All operations at the plant will take place in alignment with environment protection commitments and will uphold the sustainable business practices in Kezad.
Prime hub
The construction of the proposed plant is set to further propel manufacturing for industries with large-scale undertakings and positions Kezad as the prime hub for extensive industrial development. The agreement emphasises AD Ports Group’s strategy to attract manufacturing companies from around the world and across the board to drive economic growth.

Unique material treatment process
