LG operations double in Jordan

Amman , September 17, 2007

The operations of LG Electronics and its agent for commercial air conditioning systems in Jordan - Al Asalah Electromechanics - have doubled compared to last year.

The company further announced that all their financial and operational objectives had also been met even before the close of the year.

Members of the management team at LG Electronics and Al Asalah attribute this achievement to aggressive promotional strategies and efforts made by each and every member on the Al Asalah team.

The team's efforts have enabled the company to foster strong and sustainable long term relations with clients and prospective clients alike, said an Al Asalah official.

LGE's client base for the commercial air conditioning business also grew significantly this year, a fact the company attributes to the elevated quality of services, after sales services and the impressive product line that the company has to offer, an official spokesman added.

'We are proud of all the achievements we have made this year but we still feel the sky is the limit as to where it is we want to go from this point. We have plans to increase the size of our business in Jordan and we are now even in the process of inaugurating our new service center in Aqaba,' said general manager of Al Asalah Issam Samarah.

The achievement made by Al Asalah during the first six months of this year can be attributed to their active business development division.

During this year, Al Asalah signed several agreements with a number of development and consultancy firms in Jordan; including Taameer Jordan Holdings, Al Hussaini Group, Abdullah Taba'a Company, Arab Islamic Bank, Jordan Islamic Bank, Sama Jordan, Thabat, Khalaf and Shtay development Co, Amlak Jordan, Golden Gate consultancy, Turino amongst others.

'LGE offers one of the world's most economical and energy conserving air conditioning units. Our systems and units come with low running costs which in turn make them ideal for use in multi story buildings and spaces of varying size,' said general manager of LGE, Amman branch, Kevin Cha.Trade Arabia News Service
