Motorola unveils new luxury edition

Dubai, December 10, 2007

Motorola has unveiled the new RAZR2 V8 Luxury Edition at Dubai’s most stunning venue - the Burj Al Arab Hotel.

The new RAZR2 Luxury Edition fits perfectly with the latest haute couture and is sure to entice the in vogue consumer this festive season, said an official spokesman.

The signature RAZR2 form factor has been redesigned and re-imagined in the most luxurious materials – bathed in gold and clothed in a sensual snake-like skin with embossed graphics, and 18 carat elegant gold plated accents with an engraved diamond-cut pattern on the sideband.

“We see a new trend emerging globally which points to the idea of classical luxury. Sophisticated, understated elegance is a key theme for the beginning of 2008 and the RAZR2 Luxury is perfectly placed to satisfy that desire,” said senior design manager, EMEA, Motorola Mobile Devices, Nick Woodley.

The RAZR2 V8 Luxury Edition comes complete with a black slate Motorola H680 Bluetooth headset with 18k gold-plated accents, included in-box.  With up to approximately eight hours of crisp, clear talk time and eight days of standby time, the petite and stylish H680 is the perfect companion.

A wired stereo headset for music enjoyment, a matching patent leather carrying case with mini strap, and a polishing cloth are also included in box, adding even more style to a device that delivers the complete mobile experience.

Motorola showcased a range of accessories from high-end brands illustrating the latest styles being followed around the world. Snake skin and gold were the highlights of the winter 2007 collections.

Accessories were provided by a lavish list of stores that carry these fashion brands across the UAE.  S*uce, Lux Couture, Candella, Pollini, Furla, Moreschi, Fendi and Salvatore Ferragamo lit up the Burj with a breathtaking collection guaranteed to make a luxurious fashion statement.
