Sharaf DG launches 100pc consumer finance scheme

Dubai, February 20, 2008

Sharaf DG has launched a new loan scheme providing customers instant 100 per cent finance on big-ticket item purchases.

Sharaf DG has tied up with Emirates Bank to provide 100 per cent finance to customers on big-ticket item purchases at the lowest finance cost in the market and with an easy loan re-payment period, Dubai’s retail outlet said in a statement.

This comes close on the heels of its “lowest price guarantee” which assures customers that the prices of all products sold at Sharaf DG are the lowest as compared to any other authorised retail outlets in malls.

“Sharaf DG aims to revolutionise the electronics retail industry and is constantly looking to introduce new and innovative schemes that benefit our customers,” said Director Nilesh Khalkho.

“We are happy to partner with Emirates Bank to provide customers with the lowest, most convenient and easy paced financing option in the market, enabling them to instantly purchase & enjoy products that are highly priced,” he said.

“Now our customer can take home a 32’’ LCD for as low at AED 95 per month EMI for a 3 year period. It is a far better option as compared to credit card financing where the interest rates are very high,” he added.

The Consumer Finance is applicable on products priced above Dh2000 and extends to branded laptops and computers, LCD and Plasma Televisions, Home Theatre Systmes, Washing Machines, Digital Cameras, Modular Kitchens, Branded Furniture and a host of other products.

There will be an in-store dedicated Emirates Bank kiosk in each Sharaf DG outlet with experts who will advise on all aspects of consumer finance. The key features of the scheme include Instant Finance with express approvals, easy loan repayment period of 36 months and minimum documentation.

“Sharaf DG is already experiencing huge success at Dubai Shopping Festival with the ‘Crazy Prices’ promotion, which has been attracting customers looking for an excellent bargain. The new consumer finance loan scheme is expected to further accelerate sales,” said Khalkho. – TradeArabia News Service
