Dubai, October 6, 2013

Simmtronics, the world’s third largest tablet PC maker, has launched its “XPad Freedom”, the world’s first high-speed Quad-Core tablet with 3G calling facility and high-data speed.

XPad Freedom is an intelligent, all-in-one workhorse designed as the perfect companion for professionals and students who desire both reliable communications as well as optimum convenience – all at an affordable cost, said a statement.

The much-awaited tablet joins a line of award-winning products launched by Simmtronics, the world’s No 1 original equipment manufacturer for tablet PCs, and makes its debut at Gitex Shopper 2013, currently under way in Dubai.

Simmtronics’ latest tablet is packed with a host of attractive features and technological advances. Featuring a superior Quad Core 1.2GHz processor, XPad Freedom delivers a remarkably dynamic performance, thanks to its 4.2.2 Jellybean operating system. Working on the Android platform, the ultra slim tablet features advanced high-definition graphics on its 7.85-inch display screen, it said.
The XPad Freedom is also the lightest and slimmest tablet of its category. Additionally, the dual-SIM feature offered by XPad Freedom allows users to manage both 3G and 2G communications effortlessly.

“XPad Freedom is now the most highly advanced tablet ever to be launched in the Middle East,” said Indrajit Sabharwal, managing director of Simmtronics. “Our latest tablet showcases the strengths of Simmtronics’ own manufacturing and R&D facilities while setting the benchmark in future tablet technologies. It also reinforces our position as the world’s No 1 OEM (original equipment maker) for tablets.”

The tablet also empowers end-users with several other technological advances– an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera, Bluetooth, HDMI connectivity, high-definition graphics and longer lasting battery power.

XPad Freedom is priced at an attractive Dh999 and is aimed at a growing market segment that seeks advanced IT solutions at affordable cost, it said.
