LG holds video game contest in Amman

New Vision, the exclusive distributor of LG Electronics in Jordan, recently sponsored a championship which utilised LG’s innovative 3D television screens featuring Dual Play technology.

The widely popular video game Call of Duty is co-developed by global video game publisher Activision and LG Electronics.

Organised by Play 99.6 at Leaders Center with the support of Nescafé and Leaders Center, the Championship drew the participation of over 600 video gaming enthusiasts who were divided into 16 teams and competed to win the title of Jordan’s Call of Duty Champion.

LG Electronics’ 3D television screens deliver the total-immersion brilliance of Full HD 3D picture quality, with battery-free 3D glasses, a virtually frameless Cinema Screen design and LG’s unique passive 3D technology.

The television screens also feature LG’s cutting-edge Dual Play technology which supports two-player gaming on the same screen whilst offering a personalised 2D view for each player, subsequently alleviating a major issue with split-screen gaming.
