Middle East Payment Services seals Miyahuna deal

Amman, June 14, 2014

Middle East Payment Services (MEPS), a leading, innovative payment services provider in the Levant region, said it has signed a merchant agreement with Jordan Water Company (Miyahuna).

As per the deal, MEPS will install point-of-sale (POS) devices at Miyahuna’s headquarters, and will provide around-the-clock technical support, ongoing monitoring security services and credit card authorization.

The agreement enables the company to offer its customers secure, convenient and user-friendly MasterCard payment services.

“Extending our premium range of cashless payment services to Miyahuna falls in line with a series of merchant agreements recently signed by MEPS with several leading local companies. Our integrated, multi-card POS devices help our clients ensure that they continuously provide their customers with unparalleled security and convenience,” remarked Dr Abdul Malik Jaber, the MEPS chairman.

In turn, Miyahuna CEO Munir Oweis said: "We strive through this agreement to simplify our customers’ financial transactions, as well as help them save time and effort while settling their bills via MasterCard."

"We fully trust the quality of the services provided to Miyahuna by MEPS which is considered a pioneer in the field of payment services across the region," he added.

Additionally, MEPS is a payment processor, card issuer and merchant acquirer of payment cards in Jordan, Palestine and Iraq.-TradeArabia News Service
