Zari O’ Breesam unveils ‘Miksar’ collection in Abu Dhabi

DUBAI, February 9, 2015

Zari O’Breesam, a local fashion house that creates modern designs with traditional touches, unveiled its all-new ‘Miksar’ collection to visitors at ‘The Bride Show Abu Dhabi.’

The fashion show, conceptualised on the lines of a wedding ceremony, attracted hordes of visitors who came to catch glimpses of the first part of the ‘Miksar’ collection. The rest is scheduled to be unveiled in March, said a statement.

Miksar 2015 is the creation of the renowned Emirati designer Nazek Al Sabbagh who introduces a totally new and distinctive shift in cuts and colours.

The first part of the collection targets brides and her family. The dazzling and creatively designed show had multiple aspects, making it difficult to capture all details at first glance.

“We don’t copy fashion trends, but rely on our own creativity and innovation, and that gives our collection a distinguished look,” said Al Sabbagh.

“Daring designs are the new element in Zari O’Breesam collection, with some dresses expressing the pride and elegance of the peacock with long colourful trails. This is consummated with brocades in colours like green, light pink, purple, orange and royal blue” she added.

The Miksar collection is distinguished by bold luxury, with the front and back of each piece making a unique statement with glamour and majestic designs. The sleeve designs are loose to be consistent with the overall design, which suggests royalty, prestige, dignity and dazzle.

“In addition to Miksar’s attention on the bride and her retinue, we created other designs for little ones under Zari Kids label, distinguished by colorful designs,” added Al Sabbagh.

The designs and colours of ‘Zari Kids’ are impressive as well, with touches of luxury complementing the innocent look. This collection  was designed in various colors to suit all tastes. The collection mostly consists of dresses with short sleeves and a noticeable band on the waist, said the statement.

Other traditional designs for night outs were presented in the Miksar fashion show at The Bride Show Abu Dhabi, marked by more elegant features reflecting luxury and opulence.

Al Sabbagh used silk, lace and muslin to give a smooth simple, quiet and feminine look. The designer is known in the Gulf region for her artistic sense that pleases women of all ages. - TradeArabia News Service
