Al Meera opens new branch in Qatar’s Jeryan Njeima

Al Meera Consumer Goods Company has opened its newest branch in Qatar’s Jeryan Njeima, marking the 43rd addition to the successful supermarket chain.

The new branch adheres to international standards of construction and décor to provide customers with a convenient shopping experience, said a statement.

Dr Mohammed Nasser Al Qahtani, deputy chief executive officer of Al Meera Consumer Goods Company, inaugurated the store, in the presence of Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, Board Member along with several Al Meera representatives.

Until Eid Al-Fitr, Al Meera customers can shop 1,000 products at the 2014 cost price in addition to a wide selection of the most sought-after items during this time, including more than 700 store promotions, and many more socially responsible activities that will be announced soon.

The 5,500-sq-m Jeryan Njeima branch constitutes 1,200 sq m of supermarket area. The store offers shoppers a wide variety of food and non-food related items as well as fresh products.

The branch includes a butchery, fishery, delicatessen, fruits and vegetables area and bakery to answer to the consumers’ various daily needs at very competitive prices.

In addition to a huge parking space, the branch will feature 19 shops and 4 restaurants that are set to open soon.

“We are committed to providing our unique services to all citizens of Qatar, especially those in new areas that don’t have access to topnotch facilities,” said Dr Al Qahtani.

“By expanding into different parts of the State, we are supporting the Qatar National Vision 2030 in its plan to develop all areas of the nation.
