An Airbus A380 aircraft paid a short visit to Abu Dhabi International Airport today (July 29).

The Superjumbo landed at 9.22 am, and took off 10 minutes later.

The visit was part of a week-long engine testing and pilot training from its selected base in Al Ain International Airport.

Abu Dhabi Airport will have a second runway operational by March 2008 which can accommodate all wide-bodied craft, including the A380. -TradeArabia News Service
