SAS enhances Business Class services

Dubai, October 2, 2007

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has enhanced its SAS Business Class with a number of additional services to ensure simpler and more hassle free travel.

The new products will be available on SAS' long-haul network, including the thrice-weekly Dubai-Copenhagen route which will be launched on November 1, said a SAS official.

The new products include the introduction of a last-minute 'A' class business cabin fare, a new comfort kit, upgraded audio visual on-demand (AVOD) and a 'breakfast on-the-go' concept.

"SAS' new 'A' class ticket has been designed for business travellers that have to make last minute travel decisions. The fare is available right up until departure and guarantees passengers a seat in SAS Business Class," said general manager UAE, SAS, Magnus Engstrom.

In addition, SAS will also offer the 'Grab & Go' breakfast concept on flights that arrive in the morning. Passengers will have the option of being served onboard or departing with their breakfast.

The airline has upgraded its in-flight entertainment system with additional audio channels. SAS now offers 30 audio channels and 46 video titles onboard.

The new products will also be available on all other non-stop long-haul SAS routes between Copenhagen or Stockholm to Bangkok, Beijing, Chicago, New Work, Seattle, Tokyo and Washington DC. - TradeArabia News Service
