Jeddah hotel upgrades limousine service

Jeddah, January 26, 2010

Rosewood Corniche, a leading hotel in Saudi Arabia, has upgraded its fleet of luxury cars to offer every hotel guest relaxed journeys to and from the heart of Jeddah, a statement said.

The 2010 models of the Mercedes S Class, BMW 7 series and Audi A6 have now been received by the luxury hotel, according to the statement.

The new cars are available to all guests and have been added to the portfolio of vehicles due to the increased demand for limousine services from guests; 90 per cent of hotel residents use the VIP airport pick up and drop off, while 20 per cent call upon the cars during their stay in Jeddah.

Whether for shopping, business meetings or city tours, guests can choose their preferred car, when available, and with drivers on call around the clock, even those with last minute requirements are catered for, the statement added.

Rosewood Corniche ensures Muslim visitors can make the most of their stay to the Kingdom by offering VIP limousine service for Umrah trips to and from Makkah and Al Masjid Al Haram.

A limousine can be booked for three to five hours, with prices starting at SR1,000 ($266).

“As Jeddah’s only ultra-luxury hotel, we are in a permanent quest for excellence and exceeding guest expectations,” said Hans-Peter Leitzke, managing director at Rosewood Corniche.

“The expanded fleet of luxury cars is helping us to meet guest requirements, ensuring each visit to Jeddah is easy as possible, from the moment they arrive in the airport.  The limousine service for pilgrims is one of the most popular activities we offer and we look forward to offering this to more guests throughout the year,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
