DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dubai - Jumeirah Beach, a luxury hotel in the UAE emirate, has launched Al Maeda – its signature Arabic restaurant offering a selection of authentic dishes from Levant and North African regions.

Al Maeda, which is Arabic for “The Dining Table”, presents a new pairing concept of Arabic cuisine, in a cosy atmosphere. The menu gathers a variety of dishes from places across the Arab world, from the starters with a wide selection of mezze to the main courses and desserts.

The menu consists of the most traditional and all-time favourite recipes such as Lentil Soup, Harira Soup, Zaatar Salad, Fattoush, Kibbeh, Makanek, a variety of Tangines and Mixed Grills with a selection of koftas, Muhalabia, Kunafa and Moroccan tea in addition to some signature dishes and a taste of fresh local fish.

Hassan El Wahidi, general manager, said: “The concept behind Al Maeda is to offer classic Arabic dishes that would appeal to both Arab and non-Arab diners. The UAE has a mix of many different Arabic nationalities coming from various cultural backgrounds and cuisines therefore our aim is to offer our guests an eclectic experience picking the most renowned Arabic recipes. We have carefully selected the dishes to match the discerning palate of our guests, whether to satisfy a childhood memory of a favourite meal or to impress a first-time taster. Al Maeda is open for lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday.
