Jannah Hotels .... embarks on an energy saving initiative.

Abu Dhabi hotel group launches Go Green drive

ABU DHABI, December 25, 2014

Abu Dhabi's Jannah Hotels and Resorts said it has launched its new Go Green initiative, an energy saving campaign, at all its properties.

The company kicked off the campaign at its new Jannah Place Dubai Marina property.

Jannah Hotels and Resorts has started installing LED (light emitting diodes) lights at all its properties replacing old regular ones aimed at  saving immense amounts of energy and electricity, said its CEO Nehme Imad Darwiche.

“Further, we have installed sensors that will help us save water efficiently. In a country like the UAE where water is precious, we felt this was a major step,” stated Darwiche.

According to him, the Go Green move is a first of the many initiatives the company is planning to take in the coming days. “Jannah has always positioned itself as advanced and innovative group and so it was only natural that we used advanced technology for a good cause and to show responsibility towards our planet,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
