GCAS.providing globally recognised accreditations

Top award for Abu Dhabi Airports' aviation studies centre

ABU DHABI, April 26, 2015

The Gulf Centre for Aviation Studies (GCAS), the training arm of Abu Dhabi Airports, has been recognised for delivering the most shared and validated Trainair Plus Standardised Training Packages (STPs) than any other ICAO Trainair Plus centre worldwide.

Awarded by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), the accolade was presented by Raymond Benjamin, ICAO secretary general, during the ICAO Global Aviation Training and Trainair Plus Symposium held in Dublin, Ireland.

Mohamed Mubarak Ali Al Mazrouei, CEO of Abu Dhabi Airports, said: “We in Abu Dhabi Airports are delighted to receive this prestigious award from ICAO which marks our commitment to excellence in aviation and airport training. Abu Dhabi is now a well-established global aviation hub, which continues to grow creating a need for well-trained aviation professionals. The Gulf Centre for Aviation Studies is proud to be doing its part by providing international standard aviation training in the UAE as well as globally.”
