China slashes entry visa fees for Bahrainis

MANAMA, May 1, 2015

The fees levied on Bahrainis who apply for entry visas to China have been slashed from BD42 ($110.6) to BD24.

The Chinese Embassy in Manama will implement the measure from Monday (May 4), said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

The new fees will apply to the three-month valid entry visa and for single 30-day trips to China.

The measure reflects Bahrain’s keenness to streamline visa procedures from accredited diplomatic missions in the kingdom and is also in line with the principle of reciprocity in the issuance of all types of visas between Bahrain and China. - TradeArabia News Service
