City Seasons Muscat named 'Best Family-Oriented Hotel'

MUSCAT, September 22, 2015

City Seasons hotel in Muscat, a leading four-star property in the Omani capital, was awarded “Best Family-Oriented Hotel” by the Arab Centre for Tourism Media.

The annual event, in its fifth edition, was held in Muscat under the patronage of Ahmed Bin Nasser Al Mehrzi, Omani Minister of Tourism.

Up to 18 categories of persons and bodies in the Arab tourism and hospitality industries received accolades for their contribution.

Christian Palacin, general manager of City Seasons Muscat said: “We are very proud and grateful to be awarded such a prestigious title. At City Seasons we have always strived to offer a comfortable stay to all our travellers, especially to family vacationers which have acknowledged us as a sure and friendly choice in Oman as well as in UAE.”

The criteria for the title included facilities for family with young children i.e. secured play area, pool and swimming accessories, mother and child corners, special kids meals in room service, cribs, baby monitors and a variety of items to make the stay secure and comfortable.

Sheikh Ahmed Musallam Bin Ham, vice-president and founder of City Seasons Hotels was also presented with an award for his continuing contribution to the hospitality sector.

The Arab Centre for Tourism Media, through this initiative, highlights the activities and individual efforts as well as workers in the tourism sector throughout the Arab world, with the aim to attract the limelight to the Arab countries’ touristic sites including the cultural ones and heritage. – TradeArabia News Service
