Eid bonanza for Bahrain's hotels, retail centres

Tens of thousands of tourists from around the region visited Bahrain to celebrate Eid Al Adha festivities. Five-star hotels reported an average of 90 per cent occupancy rate over the five-day holiday, while shopping centres and restaurants reported an influx of visitors, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
