Best Western expands portfolio in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, October 27, 2015

Hospitality chain Best Western Hotels & Resorts is rapidly expanding its portfolio in the Middle East with the recent announcement of three new hotel openings in Saudi Arabia, with two located in the capital city of Riyadh.

“With the addition of these new hotels to our Middle East portfolio, business and leisure travellers have a greater variety of contemporary, stylish and comfortable Best Western branded hotels to choose from. Opening two hotels in Riyadh, the dynamic capital city of Saudi Arabia, marks an important step in our Middle East development strategy,” said Baran Turkel, managing director Best Western Hotels & Resorts Middle East, Turkey and Central Asia.

The Best Western Plus Riyadh is located in the heart of the city and is close to the business and government districts, shopping malls and tourist areas and is approximately 30 minutes from the King Khalid International Airport. Hotel amenities include 85 modern guest rooms and suites, free wi-fi, complimentary breakfast, the on-site, full-service Cascade Restaurant, business centre services, a fitness centre, indoor pool and sauna as well as meeting and event facilities with on-site catering.

The Best Western Olaya Hotel is located in the business district of Riyadh. Guests have easy access to the Al Faisaliah Tower, the Al-Tawniah Multi-National corporate offices and are just 30 minutes away from King Khalid International Airport. Hotel amenities include 50 spacious contemporary guest rooms and suites; free wi-fi, complimentary breakfast, the full-service, on-site Rumours Restaurant, a coffee shop, 24-hour airport courtesy car service, business centre, fitness centre and meeting and banquet facilities.

The Best Western Dammam Hotel, a short drive from the King Khalid International Airport, is located in the business district and is steps to both the Al Shatea Mall and the Dammam Coast. This modern hotel’s amenities include 64 spacious and contemporary guest rooms and suites with ocean or city views available; free wi-fi, complimentary breakfast, on-site restaurant, fitness centre and business centre services.

The three new hotels in Saudi Arabia bring total Best Western Middle East presence to 11 hotels, with nine projects in the 2016 pipeline.
