Marking the 40th year anniversary of the first Concorde flight to Bahrain, a scale model of the airliner with graphics was showcased yesterday (January 21) at Sakhir, the venue of Bahrain International Air Show (BIAS) 2016. The occasion of the first flight from London to Bahrain which coincided with inaugural day of the three-day air show was celebrated as the highlight of events marking the aviation heritage shared by Bahrain and the UK, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
