Air conditioned corridors to provide

Emirates Park Zoo and Resort prepares for the summer season

ABU DHABI, April 12, 2016

Emirates Park Zoo and Resort has combatted the displeasures of summer by air-conditioning 45 per cent of the entire establishment, making the zoo an ideal location for families to spend a relaxing day interacting, and observing the animals within close proximity.

The CEO of Emirates Park Zoo and Resort Aaliyah Hana said: “We foresaw the extreme heat summer brings in the UAE, and wanted to find a way to make guests’ experience at Emirates Park Zoo and Resort a more comfortable and memorable one.”

Emirates Park Zoo and Resort is the first of its kind to introduce a temperature controlled corridor that runs through the entire premise. Visitors will be protected by the harsh sunlight whilst still enjoying the zoo adventure. The entire wall of the corridor is glass and thus does not bother the experience in any way.

“We are a customer-oriented establishment that makes the needs of our visitors a priority. The measures that we have taken will accommodate children and adults, shielding them from the harmful rays. We are grateful for the positive reviews and praises received from guests who appreciated the facilities we offer at Emirates Park Zoo and Resort,” she said.

To heighten the summer experience, Emirates Park Zoo and Resort has seven cafes that include the honeybee themed Bee Café, Candy Factory Shop, Flamingo Café, Pearl Café, Fresh Juice Shop and Bird Café at different points of the zoo for guests to grab refreshments. The organization houses Al Dar Arabic Restaurant under the supervision of chef Abdul Monem, and ‘The Emirates Park Resort’ pool side restaurant where artistically prepared dishes by chef El Mehdi are served. - TradeArabia News Service
