Mcfee takes on a new role at both Capital Centre Arjaan and Centro Capital Centre

New cluster executive chef for Rotana hotels in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, October 17, 2016

Capital Centre Arjaan and Centro Capital Centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE, have welcomed Kaesta Mcfee to the new role of cluster executive chef.

A Canadian national, Mcfee was previously the executive chef for Centro Capital Centre.

Bringing with him more than 20 years of experience in international cuisines, Mcfee has worked with hotel chains in Singapore and Canada prior to relocating to UAE. Being with Centro for more than two years, he is well versed with the brand standards and has been a significant contributor in overlooking the kitchens operations in compliance with the highest levels.

As a cluster executive chef, he will lead a team of 36 culinarians and 15 stewards. They will assist him on day to day operations with a portfolio comprising two all day dining restaurants Tamarind and c.taste, c.deli - a take away concept, Aroma lobby lounge serving light snacks and beverages and c.mondo bar. Additionally his team will overlook dining for five meeting rooms at Centro and six at Arjaan, including outside catering requirements in the city such as gala dinners.

Commenting on his appointment, Mcfee said: “I am extremely delighted to have been given this opportunity at Rotana Hotel Management Corporation and specifically the role with two such diverse and renowned brands of Centro and Arjaan.”
