Ritz Carlton to manage new Saadiyat Island hotel

ABU DHABI, October 19, 2016

Hospitality giant the Ritz-Carlton will manage the new luxury hotel on Saadiyat Island following a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in Abu Dhabi yesterday.

The MoU was signed by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, chairman of National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH), and Alex Kyriakidis, president and managing director - MEA for Marriott International.

The hotel, which will cover a beach front area of 95,000-sq-m, is located to nearby attractions like the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Manarat Al Saadiyat and Yas Links Golf course, amongst others.

Kyriakidis expressed his appreciation to NCTH selecting Marriott International to run this impressive hotel.

Committed to promoting tourism in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, the hotel will feature attractions for the whole family and will comprise 300 rooms plus villas and chalets.
