CBRE to manage Andalusia Gardens in Bahrain

MANAMA, November 7, 2016

CBRE, a global real estate advisory firm, has been appointed as the exclusive property manager and marketing advisor for Andalusia Garden, a new modern extension to Bahrain's Andalusia Complex, which accommodates a variety of food and beverage (F&B) and retail outlets.

Coming up in Zayed Town, Andalusia Garden is a 1,800-sq-m retail development centered around a landscaped courtyard, with indoor and open-plan dining options. The complex provides eight units with a total leasable area across the project of 1,296 sq m. Each unit is double storey, with a rooftop terrace, as well as outdoor areas on the ground and first floors. There is ample parking on the site and the development is highly visible from the Shaikh Salman Highway.

Andy Hinson, senior director and head of asset services, CBRE Bahrain, said: “Andalusia Garden is a great addition to a well-established retail development - in a high traffic location, near to government offices and residential areas. CBRE are now developing the tenant mix for the property with the owners. Al Shaya Trading are already committed to open a drive-through Starbucks coffee shop in one of the prime units.”

The development is expected to open towards the end of Q1 2017 and is set to attract diners from Isa Town, A’Ali, Riffa and Sanad as well as Zayed Town, as its primary markets.

“Andalusia Garden will provide further food and beverage offerings for the surrounding community of workers and residents, with an aesthetic design and al fresco dining in mind” added Hinson.

The appointment marks the 20th instruction for CBRE in Bahrain, which manages eight commercial office properties, six retail developments, five residential buildings and compounds as well as a large industrial facility. - TradeArabia News Service
