Bahrain Tourism Authority to take part in Jewellery Arabia

MANAMA, November 11, 2016

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority has announced that it will take part in the upcoming Jewellery Arabia, taking place from November 22 to 26 at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre.

Its participation is in line with its 2016-2018 strategy aimed at promoting the Kingdom as a wedding destination, specifically targeting Saudi Arabia and India.

Commenting on the participation, BTEA Advisor, Dr. Ali Follad said: "During the past few months we have collaborated with international specialists in order to launch a special pavilion during Jewellery Arabia. The exhibition is the ideal platform to attract our target market and promote the key benefits and wide variety of choices available in Bahrain in terms of overall hospitality and specifically the wedding sector.”

BTEA’s pavilion has been developed in cooperation with "Valley Media International" and other leading international experts. The main aim behind the participation is to promote the wide range of services available in the Kingdom, along with the international luxury hotel chains and boutique offerings.

The pavilion will be located in Al Fanar Hall and will feature 14 participants representing various five-star hotels and wedding planners in order to deliver exceptional and integrated experience for couples looking to host a wedding in Bahrain.

Among the other attractions during Jewellery Arabia, BTEA has coordinated their efforts with the most famous and high-end fashion houses to organise a fashion show over the course of the three days, from November 23 to 25, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The fashion show will be attended by families only, and will showcase exclusive collections of the finest wedding dresses produced by some of the biggest names in the fashion industry at a local, regional, and global level. Participants from Bahrain include Tagreed Al Arryed and Zahraa Al Mousawi, and from Saudi Arabia Amina Al Jassim and Sherwin Darrel, from Kuwait Nashmia Al Shoryaan, from France Fashion Dalinda, and Russia Vyacheslav Zaitsev, and Lebanon Saiid Kobeisy and Naja Saade, and from Romania Cristina Edu.

The Jewellery Arabia 2016 sets a perfect platform to market Bahrain as an ideal destination for weddings, as it is the most prominent jewellery exhibition in the region, and attracts thousands of visitors from different nationalities, covering a large area of 21,000-sq-mand brings together more than 600 exhibitors from 30 different countries. - TradeArabia News Service
