New GM for The Millennium Plaza Dubai

DUBAI, January 31, 2017

The Millennium Plaza Dubai, a luxury accommodation along Sheikh Zayed Road, has appointed Nemo Acimovic as the new general manager.

A Serbian national with more than 27 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Acimovic will lead the entire team of Millennium Plaza Dubai into achieving growth by implementing effective strategies to expand market share, increase revenues and enhance guest satisfaction.

He has a proven record of success, managing luxury hotels and resorts in the UK, Australia and the Middle East. He has previously worked at reputed properties such as the Hilton Hotel & Starwood Hotels & Resorts where he served in the capacity of director of food and beverage and deputy general manager of Le Royal Meridien, Abu Dhabi in 2008. Most recently, he held the position of general manager at the Millennium Corniche Abu Dhabi.

On his appointment, Acimovic said: “Product, service and guest recognition are three pillars that I believe separates a good experience from an excellent one. To be able to anticipate what our guest expects from his stay and to consistently deliver above and beyond those expectations, by recognising each individual guest, is what makes this industry so interesting and challenging.”

He also added: "It is always my endeavour to join such a reputable and established hotel where respect, dedication, development, motivation, empowerment and knowledge shared with my team will be my number one priority. We have an exceptional team at Millennium Plaza Dubai and a very bright future ahead. I look forward to working closely with our team.” - TradeArabia News Service
