Danat Hotels & Resorts, a division of National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels, is eyeing the German tourist market as it prepares to highlight major upgrades of its facilities at this year’s ITB Berlin, a leading travel trade show set to take place in March.

The German market is a main feeder market for all of Danat Hotels & Resorts for leisure segment followed by countries like China, Switzerland, Spain, UK, Scandinavian countries and CIS.

During the exhibition, the Danat Hotels & Resorts Management Team will promote the 24 new chalets at Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort which offers breathtaking view of the beach and the 158 additional rooms at Dhafra Beach Hotel. Danat Al Ain Resort will also open McGettigans Irish Pub and will promote the newly opened Fado Irish Pub at Oryx Hotel.

The Danat Hotels & Resorts Management Team aims to seek new business opportunities and will meet with new wholesale and tour operators to increase the number of German visitors staying at several properties under Danat Hotels & Resorts.

Manoj Kanwal, Danat Operations Director, said: “ITB is an important platform to promote our hotels where we have German guests who like to stay in our properties for leisure and to enjoy our hotel activities and the beach. During ITB, we will meet with all our partners based in Europe and will discuss any additional services they may provide us to increase business opportunities.”

He added: “We will meet travel agencies, DMCs and tour operators for the leisure business and inbound travel to Abu Dhabi and discuss the rates that we would offer to book them mainly from Europe and to meet new TPI’s to broaden our online GDS’s channels.”

The Danat Hotels & Resorts Management Team will implement aggressive marketing strategies to get a bigger share of the German market such as offering special and tactical promotions to German tour operations, advertisements in leading German magazines and brochures.

ITB is the first major travel and tourism show this year and a must-attend exhibition for Danat Hotels & Resorts. The team of Danat Hotels & Resorts - which includes Danat Al Ain Resort, Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort, Al Raha Beach Hotel, Tilal Liwa Hotel, Danat Capital Hotel, Oryx Hotel, Century Hotel Apartments, Dhafra Beach Hotel and Green Mubazzarah Chalets - will be exhibiting with TCA Abu Dhabi Stand as corporate stand on Hall 2.2/200. - TradeArabia News Service
