Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach appoints two new staff members

DUBAI, February 16, 2017

Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach continues to expand its operational team with the appointment of two new members.

A Guest Relationship & Engagement expert with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Mircea Canduletiu has joined the hotel as the new executive assistant manager for rooms.

In his role, Canduletiu is responsible for the operation of guest services, front office, concierge, housekeeping, laundry, security and engineering departments.

With his attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous manner, he ensures his team is providing all guests with quality service while maximising room revenue and productivity. Additionally, Canduletiu will be in charge of the property in the absence of the cluster general manager.

Canduletiu has worked with a number of prestigious brands including Ritz-Carlton Dubai - his first place of employment as guest engagement manager - The Address Hotels & Resorts - as a rooms division manager - and Armani Hotels & Resorts and Burj Khalifa Residences Dubai, where he served as director of residences and guest engagement.

Fernando María Rey Golfarine has been appointed as the new head chef at Dubai’s first Brazilian Churasscaria - Fogueira in Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach.

Bringing over a decade of culinary experience that is deeply rooted with South American culture and tradition, Golfarine is committed to capturing the spirit of traditional Brazilian dining with a decorative ambiance that is true to the essence of Brazil.

Born in Uruguay and raised in Brazil, Golfarine started his career with a popular churrascaria which boasts two decades of serving quality meat.  He began his journey by practising his culinary skills as a child inspired by Uruguayan chef Sergio Puglia until he was old enough to professionally work at various establishments in popular cities of Brazil before traversing the Middle East to make his mark.

Prior to leading the innovative team at Fogueira, Golfarine was senior chef de Partie Churrascaria Rodizio at Crown Plaza Hotel in Doha, where he was recipient of the HABC Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering - all of which further enhanced his skills in the kitchen.  - TradeArabia News Service
