The delegation is headed by BTEA’s director of Tourism Marketing and Promotions, Yousef Mohamed Al Khan, along with members of BTEA’s representative office in Saudi Arabia.

The BTEA stand, covering an area of 84-sq-m, brings together industry representatives all under one roof including hotels such as Ramada Hotel and Suites Amwaj Island, Ramada Hotel City Centre Bahrain, Gulf Hotel and Crowne Plaza Bahrain, travel representatives such as Al Gosaibi Travel and Atbahrain, a Destination Management Company along with Travel & Tourism News (TTN) Middle East.

“Our tourism awareness strategy focuses on taking part in regional and international travel and tourism related exhibitions. We are currently working closely with BTEA’s representative office in Riyadh to further develop and enhance the kingdom’s tourism offering and attract Saudi visitors to Bahrain, as well as contribute to the national economy under the umbrella ‘Ours.Yours’. Saudi Arabia is considered as a target market due to its close geographical proximity to the Kingdom of Bahrain,” said the director of Tourism Marketing and Promotions at the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority,  Yousif Mohamed Al Khan.

The exhibition, open to the public, is running over a period of four days and is considered as an ideal platform for investors and tourism professionals to promote different destinations and their unique tourism offerings.

‘Riyadh Travel Fair 2017’ is one of the largest travel and tourism exhibitions held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The exhibition brings together the industry key players including travel agents, airlines, hospitality companies, tourist promotion authorities from Saudi Arabia and the region, in addition to DTMs from the Middle East and the rest of the world. - TradeArabia News Service
