Forbes Travel Guides opens new office in Dubai

DUBAI, April 13, 2017

Forbes Travel Guide, the originator of the prestigious five-star rating system, continues to expand its international presence with the opening of the company’s new office in Dubai, UAE.  

Industry veteran Samira Demeis takes on the role of vice president for Partner Services, Middle East and Africa and will lead operations in the regions, where she has 14 years of experience.

Demeis joins Forbes Travel Guide from Hotel Marketing Concepts, where she was responsible for assisting hotel partners grow their turnover and profit. Before moving to the Middle East, her career took her to various countries and in a variety of senior management positions. She began with Best Western Australia in the role of National and International sales and marketing manager, then with AccorHotels in the positions of director of Sales and Marketing, executive assistant manager and general manager before moving to Asia. In Korea and China, Demeis served as director of business development/executive assistant manager for the Hilton Group.
