Air Arabia offers first international flight to Sohar

Air Arabia commences flights to Sohar

SHARJAH, July 10, 2017

Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s largest low-cost carrier (LCC), launched its inaugural flight to Sohar in Oman yesterday, making it the first international flight to the Sohar airport.

The Air Arabia flight will operate three times a week, on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays, departing from Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) at 8 am, and arriving at Sohar International Airport (OHS) at 8:40 am local time. The return flight departs from Sohar at 9:20 am, landing in Sharjah at 10:00 am local time.

The new route complements Air Arabia’s existing operations in Muscat and Salalah, boosts travel and trade opportunities between the two Gulf countries, and provides hassle-free travel options to the residents of Sohar, the airline said. - TradeArabia News Service
