Towers Rotana embraces special needs kids this festive season

DUBAI, December 10, 2017

In the spirit leading up to the festive season, Towers Rotana Dubai hosted 15 students with special needs from SNF (Special Needs Future Development Center) to creatively decorate the life-size gingerbread house in the lobby of the hotel on December 4, with the guidance of the team of pastry chefs.

The Special Needs Future Development Center focuses on empowering young adults with special needs. By offering personalised and professional support to students above the age of 14 years, SNF strives to aid them in becoming self-sufficient, personally, and professionally.

Commenting on the activity, Towers Rotana general manager, Hossam Mansour said: “We’re pleased to have this opportunity to reach out and touch the lives of these special young adults. This simple activity is a part of our commitment to reinforcing the Rotana corporate sustainability initiative; Rotana Earth which, has been developed to address environmental, economic and social issues."

“Events like this help us achieve our goal of preparing young adults with special needs for integration into mainstream society. We remain extremely thankful to Towers Rotana for coming forward and inviting our students to interact with their team and decorate the hotel's gingerbread house”, said Safia Bari, director of SNF Development Center. - TradeArabia News Service
