Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort has appointed Sietze Hoefnagel as its new Director of Operations, effective October 22.
With over 15 years of international hospitality experience spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, Hoefnagel brings a wealth of hospitality industry knowledge and leadership to the resort.
After gaining a Master's Degree in Operations Management from the University of Manchester Hoefnagel began his hospitality career in Cairo with Sofitel before advancing to prestigious roles at luxury brands including W Hotels and Mondrian. He excelled in pre-opening roles in South Korea and Ibiza before his most recent role in Singapore. His journey has been defined by a commitment to enhancing guest satisfaction, driving revenue growth, optimising operations and driving community collaborations.
Most recently, he served as Hotel Manager at Mondrian Singapore Duxton, where his expertise in managing large teams and delivering superior guest experiences earned enhanced guest satisfaction scores and improved hotel’s online reputation.

Hoefnagel will oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences, while also focusing on team development, operational efficiency, and innovative service delivery.
