Kuwait's leading low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways has announced the cancellation of flights to nine Indian destinations until May 15 due to operational reasons. These include the southern cities of Coimbatore, Kannur, Kozhikode, Madurai and Mangaluru as well as Goa and Lucknow.
US President Donald Trump on Saturday cancelled a trip by two US envoys to Pakistan, stating that he no longer plans to send a US delegation to Pakistan this weekend, blaming 'infighting' in Iran for derailing potential talks and saying the trip would have been “too much work.”
Following instructions from UAE Airport Authorities, Air India Express has cancelled all its flights to and from Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah. However, it will operate one-round trip on Delhi–Dubai sector, to and from Dubai, subject to prevailing conditions at the time of operation.
Etihad Airways has announced that it will suspend all flights until 2am on March 2 following the temporary closure of the UAE's airspace amid the ongoing Middle East conflict. Tickets for these flights can be changed free of charge to flights operating up to March 15.
Airlines have cancelled more than 1,000 US flights during the peak Christmas travel period on Friday, with severe winter storm warnings and heavy snow forecast across parts of the Midwest and northeast, said media reports. A total of 3,974 flights were delayed across the country.
