Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has granted US-based Delta Air Lines a Foreign Air Operator Authorization, paving the way for scheduled direct flights between Atlanta and Riyadh.
The Air Connectivity Programme (ACP) has signed a cooperation agreement with Delta Air Lines to strengthen direct air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and the US and expand the Kingdom’s international aviation network.
Saudia has expanded its codeshare partnerships with Delta Air Lines, Air France-KLM and Virgin Atlantic, enhancing access to North America through major European hubs. The agreement will connect travellers to nearly 30 destinations across the US and Canada via Paris, Amsterdam and London.
