Bahraini authorities has announced that a major revamp of Manama’s historic suq is currently underway, with the redevelopment of the covered arcade and the Bab Al Bahrain complex scheduled for completion by the fourth quarter, said a report.
Yas Waterworld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, the region’s leading waterpark, has officially unveiled its newest expansion, introducing a premium collection of 11 new slides and attractions that take aquatic adventure to new heights, said its senior officials.
Dubai has approved a masterplan to redevelop Umm Suqeim Beach into a landmark destination reflecting the emirate’s cultural identity. The scope of work includes the construction of six main gateways, 10 mobility hubs and 11 taxi pickup and drop-off points as well as a 38m observation tower.
Work is nearing completion on Jumeirah Beach 1 project, a fully integrated coastal destination in Dubai featuring modern recreational and sports facilities including dedicated pedestrian, cycling and jogging paths. It is set to reopen to the public next month following revamp.
His Majesty King Hamad was briefed on the proposed masterplan to redevelop Awali City in Bahrain, covering commercial, office and residential units as well as green spaces in addition to a pedestrian and sports pathway. It is aimed at preserving the architectural identity and urban heritage of the city.
