NBB funds key Bahrain residential plot under Mazaya 2.0 scheme

MANAMA, January 31, 2023

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) is offering financing solutions for the first plot at AlMsayyan, a key residential development located within the kingdom's integrated residential city, Diyar Al Muharraq, under its social housing finance scheme - Mazaya 2.0.

Announcing this today (January 31) NBB said the funding for the beneficiaries of Mazaya 2.0 scheme is being smoothly implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, and the kingdom's Eskan Bank.

The AlMsayyan, launched at the recent real estate exhibition held in Bahrain City Centre, had garnered a lot of interest from both citizens as well as property investors, thanks to its strategic location and other key amenities such as retail units, open green spaces and a mosque in addition to wide parking space.

Eskan General Manager Dr Khalid Abdulla said: "We are pleased to be witnessing the successful outcome of our latest products, Mazaya 2.0 Finance, which aims to increase the number of beneficiaries benefiting from the array of financing solutions across the kingdom."

Owing to the project's attraction, NBB is offering the project under the kingdom's new social housing products, Tas’heel and Mazaya 2.0 Finance, stated Dr Abdulla.

According to him, beneficiaries can opt for the new social housing products either from Eskan Bank or from one of the participating banks.

"Our continued partnership with banks has enabled us to fulfil the diverse housing requirements of our citizens through the variety of social housing products offered," he added.

NBB Retail Banking CEO Subah Abdullatif AlZayani said: "We are committed to supporting financing programmes that enable our customers to realise their home ownership dream. Our longstanding partnership with the Ministry of Housing & Urban Planning, as well as Eskan Bank, has ensured future homeowners benefit from easy processing and facilitated access to affordable housing projects in modern cities.”

NBB continues to honour its partnership with the Ministry of Housing & Urban Planning and Eskan Bank, providing Bahraini citizens with facilitated home financing options to meet their housing requirements, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
