Jazeera Airways holds Georgia tourism roadshow

KUWAIT, May 9, 2018

Following the recently announced new route launch to Tbilisi, Jazeera Airways recently held a sales roadshow in Kuwait with the Georgian National Tourism Administration.

Promoting Georgia as a top leisure destination, the roadshow to travel agents in the city was followed by a workshop which took place at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel on May 6. In the evening a special dinner was held and attended by Roland Beridze, ambassador of Georgia to Kuwait, Georgian Tourism, local travel agents and Voyager, general sales agent for Jazeera Airways in Georgia, and Jazeera sales executives.

Jazeera Airways will commence three weekly flights to Tbilisi, capital and largest city in Georgia from June 13 onwards to address a growing travel demand for new travel experiences – especially amongst Kuwaiti nationals.

“We are happy to have conducted the roadshow which served as a great platform to network and strengthen relations with our trade partners and agents on the ground. We are continuing to expand our route network with new leisure options, especially with summer season approaching. I am delighted with the cooperation we have received from the Georgian authorities and we look forward to elevating Georgia’s position as a prime tourist attraction. We’d also like to thank Roland Beridze for his personal attendance and support.” said CEO of Jazeera Airways, Rohit Ramachandran.

The low-cost champion will provide a frequency of three weekly flights scheduled for departure at 14:50 pm and arrival at 18:20 pm in Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport and departure at 19:10 pm with arrival in Kuwait at 20:45 pm. Travellers will also enjoy connections from Tbilisi to Kuwait and onwards to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and India.

Jazeera Airways will soon be opening its new terminal in May at Kuwait International Airport, bringing an enhanced passenger experience to its customers.
