Abu Dhabi's government will announce several anti-inflation measures soon, including possible tighter curbs on rental increases, a planning official said in remarks carried by the state news agency on Tuesday.

"Reducing inflation is one of the priorities of the government of Abu Dhabi," WAM said, citing Mohammed Omar Abdullah, undersecretary of the planning and economy department in the emirate.

"There are several recommendations regarding the percentage of annual increases in rents in Abu Dhabi that are all being studied."

He gave no more details. - Reuters
