O2 Marketing Communications (O2MC), an award winning marketing communications agency, has recently launched Go2Green, a new eco-friendly initiative to help reduce waste and increase environmental consciousness amongst its staff.

The company has created two paper recycling boxes ‘GO2Green’ for its UAE offices, O2MC and O2PR, to help reduce waste generated in its two UAE offices. While one is for storing recycling paper, the other is for paper that can be re-used.

With one of the highest carbon footprints in the world, the recycling initiative is just one of many environmental initiatives O2 plans to implement over the next few years as part of its CSR program.

Prior to the paper recycling campaign, O2 had launched O2MC online in 2007, an online hassle free environmentally friendly service that facilitates communication between the clients and O2.

Instead of receiving a printed document with updates, clients can access their account with all their data online and receive email alerts when new media clippings are added.

O2 has also planned to expand into can recycling and plastic recycling.-TradeArabia News Service
