The Dubai Court of First Instance will question a state minister in a case of breach of trust, lodged by a Lebanese businesswoman, a report said.
The case was filed before Dubai's Public Prosecution in June, said the Gulf News report.
Dubai's Attorney General Esam Eisa Al Humaidan was quoted by the report as saying the Public Prosecution referred the minister, who remained unnamed, and three supposed associates to the court.
They are facing charges of breach of trust, embezzlement, swindling and aiding and abetting a crime, the report said.
'The woman allegedly accused the minister of breaching the trust of her family's business, including a huge property and a company based in Dubai,' he said.
'A team of senior prosecutors looked into the claimant's complaint and based on the produced evidence and our findings based on the witnesses' statements, we referred the four suspects to court,' said Al Humaidan in a media statement.
