French oil giant Total has signed an agreement to run two service stations in Jordan.
The agreement gives it supervision and management rights.
Total Jordan managing director Arnaud Guichard signed the agreement with Kamal Al Nobani, owner of the service stations, in the presence of the chairman and head of Middle East and North Africa region for Total Refining and Marketing, Francois de Ligniville.
The signing ceremony took place at Total Jordan‘s offices.
The deal will strengthen the company’s position in the Jordanian market and offers a new opportunity to promote the brand in the region, said de Ligniville.
With Total’s global expertise, the affiliation presents a turning point in the fuel industry in Jordan, Al Nobani pointed out. – Trade Arabia News Service
