Sixteen Bapco-owned petrol stations could be privatised next year, according to Oil and Gas Affairs Minister and National Oil and Gas Authority (Noga) chairman Dr Abdulhussain Mirza.
The consultancy firm commissioned to study the project has already submitted a report to a committee representing Noga, Economic Development Board and Finance Ministry to this effect, Dr Mirza told our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej. The firm is now evaluating petrol stations to be privatised and ultimately transferred to a private company, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
