960 complete DREI brokers course
Dubai

Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI) said 960 practicing real estate agents have so far completed the Real Estate Certified Practitioner’s Training Course, which aims to qualify brokers as real estate specialists in the Dubai market.

DREI is the first specialised real estate academic institution in the region.

Delivered in conjunction with the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (Rera), a nodal agency that formulates, regulates, manages and licenses various real estate related activities in Dubai, the programme is specifically customized for active as well as emerging real estate brokers.

DREI held a ceremony on July 2, acknowledging the efforts of the program faculty from Rera and awarding certificates of achievement to the outstanding participants of the course.

Dr Salem Al Shafiei, managing director of DREI, said: “DREI is proud to partner with Rera to deliver the highest standards of education in the real estate industry. The contents of the course have been meticulously drafted after a careful study of market trends and requirements to suitably benefit industry professionals at all levels.

“As mandated by Rera, this certification will prove crucial to all real estate brokers who aim to renew or acquire their license to practice.”

In its first phase, the two-day Real Estate Certified Practitioner’s Training Course includes modules on legal environment, code of ethics, property registration and transfer procedures.

It also provides an introduction to standard forms and the concept of owners’ associations.

“We are delighted to see future industry talent benefitting significantly from the courses we offer at DREI. The professional guidelines that we recommend with Rera’s consistent support have also proved highly valuable for our students," Dr Salem added.

The Dubai real estate market will definitely reap the benefits of this educational initiative that we have ventured into with Rera.”

Slotted twice a week on Saturday-Sunday and Monday-Tuesday, the training course is delivered in the English at the state-of-the-art DREI campus in Building 53, Dubai Healthcare City.-TradeArabia News Service
