Standard Chartered bank, will attempt to break a new world record by making the world’s largest mosaic of the UAE flag from 6,000 footballs, on the occasion of UAE’s 43rd National Day celebration.

The UAE celebrates its National Day on December 2.

The event will take place on November 27, at the Standard Chartered Towers, Emaar Square in Downtown Dubai, UAE, and will be managed and attended by the bank’s employees including senior officials.

Representatives from the Guinness Book of World Records will also be present to certify the attempt.

Should the attempt be successful, Standard Chartered will be the first bank in the UAE to create such a record, said a statement by the bank.

The day will also see several colourful and engaging activities to mark the UAE National Day.

Earlier this month, the bank launched a viral campaign on its social media channels #UAEPride to urge UAE nationals and residents to celebrate the National Day with the bank and be part of the record-breaking attempt. – TradeArabia News Service
