ABiQ allocates $1bn to projects identified by GFIS

DUBAI, December 9, 2020

ABiQ Business Intelligence (ABiQ), a Dubai-based investment bank has allocated $1 billion to projects identified by Global Islamic Financial Services Firm (GIFS), a provider of financing and investment for projects and private equity deals.

Under the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by the two parties, ABiQ will leverage its extensive database to assist Global Islamic Financial Services Firm to identify investment and financing opportunities.  

ABiQ is tracking over $4 trillion worth of active project opportunities in Africa and the Middle East, including critical information such as ultimate business owners and decision-makers. Through its analytical capability, ABiQ identifies the top developers, contractors and consultants in any Middle East and African market and sector, helping to minimise risk during the development period, a company statement said.

Potential investments opportunities primarily exists for PPP projects for critical infrastructure sectors such as power, water, healthcare and transport as well as independent projects in Agri – foodtech and ICT.
