Themar to deliver Egyptian mixed-use project in mid-2017

CAIRO, April 23, 2016

Egypt-based Themar said work on its mixed-use development Blue Pearl Town House, coming up in the country's northern coast, is progressing well and due for completion by mid-2017, said a report.

Blue Pearl is the brand for tourism projects carried out by the company. It includes summer residential units, chalets, townhouse villas and hotel units implemented in a variety of sizes within the Loaloa Heliopolis, in addition to swimming pools, a private beach, restaurants and cafes.

The company is also planning to launch a new project in Alamien city within days, reported Amwal Alghad citing its top official.

About 65 per cent of the Blue Pearl project has been completed, stated its chairman Maged Abdel Fadeel.

Themar has also recently launched a new compound project, Montazah Elegance, spread over an area of 4,200 sq m in Alexandria.

Located  near the Sheraton Montazah and the corniche, the project features a number of connected towers, each with 11 floors and includes 180 housing units, said the report.

It is being developed in co-operation with the Egyptian Emirates group, which is overseeing construction, while Themar is managing development and marketing for the project, said the report.

The housing units range in size between 160 and 170 sq m, while commercial complexes are 3,000 sq m in size. The project has been completed and the units are ready for purchase, it added.
